ANU Golden Key Grants for Community Service

One of the goals of the Golden Key Society is to encourage community service on behalf of our members. In order to facilitate this goal, the ANU Golden Key Executive Committee is introducing the ANU Golden Key Grants for Community Service (Grants Initiative). Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Bring a gold coin donation and enjoy a tea, coffee or scone for a great cause, in the foyer of the Manning Clark Centre (MCC). This event raises money for the Australian Cancer Council to fund vital cancer research and essential support services. So come along and stock up on some delicious baked goods to get you through that morning lecture. It's all for a good cause, so be sure to tell your friends to drop by too!
New Members Dinner

GKANU would like to invite new members to the New Members Welcome Dinner at the Great Hall, University House. In addition to welcoming new members of Golden Key, this dinner will feature a dinner speech by the ANU Pro Vice-Chancellor of Education Professor Elizabeth Deane. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and existing members of Golden Key to get to know each other while enjoying a superb meal, drinks and speech in the company of significant members of the wider University community. Tickets are limited to Golden Key members.

Golden Key Information Week

We will be holding an info night on Thursday 26th March from 6pm in MCC 5 for new and prospective members to find out what GK is all about. There will be food and drinks (wine and cheese) provided. There will also be an info stall on campus on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th for those who are unable to attend the information session.
Golden Key Asia Pacific Conference

So GK has a bunch of conferences in far off lands like US and NZ and you never get to go? Well this is your big opportunity to attend an awesome Asia Pacific conference right here in Canberra - there will be heaps of stuff on careers, leadership and community work, not to mention lots of fun socialising! This is also YOUR chance to get involved! ANU GK members are invited to be on a Steering Committee to help plan the conference and, importantly, volunteer at the conference to help show other GK members around Canberra! Bake Sale

Baked goods, need I say more? We will be selling delicious scones, cakes, muffins and tea for bargain prices, in the Manning Clark Centre 1 concession area (MCC foyer). Money raised goes towards Indigenous Literacy as part of Fountain for Youth Week. Time: 8:30am until 12 noon.
Trivia Night

Clean Up Australia Day
